‘Transitioning to Retirement’ Series: Online Starting Jan. 14

Registration is open for the Retiree Center’s annual course on “Transitioning to Retirement,” for staff and faculty and other academics considering retirement within the next five years.

The four-part series, all remote, will begin Friday, Jan. 14, and continue the next three Fridays, concluding Feb. 4. The course is offered in two tracks: one for staff, the other for faculty/physicians/academics.

The northwest corner of the campus is a training site this week for the �� Fire Department and other Yolo County emergency agencies. The training revolves around a bus crash, using an old Unitrans bus as a prop.

Each series will meet on four consecutive Tuesdays, and each campus will have one set of workshops for staff (in the mornings), and another set for faculty and other academics, and physicians (in the afternoons).
